Eef Hogervorst is Director of Dementia Research at Loughborough University. This academic group specialises in early diagnostics, development and identification of new lifestyle related treatments (exercise, nutrition) and design for dementia. Eef obtained over £9M funding for her research with her collaborators and has written over 200 peer reviewed international publications. She regularly sits on expert opinion boards to develop guidelines for clinical practice and gives keynote lectures to the public and at international scientific conferences. Her research is applied and is used worldwide. She works with Oxford and Cambridge University and several top Universities in the USA, such as Harvard, Wisconsin Maddison and Stanford.
