Wendy Wells has worked for the Guinness Partnership for 15 years in various frontline roles. Guinness owns and manages around 60,000 homes and provides care and support services for more than 10,000 people across England. Their core activities comprise housing for social and affordable rent, affordable home ownership, housing for older people and a range of care services, including care at home, extra care, supported and retirement living. Wendy now leads the project to ensure that Guinness become a dementia friendly organisation. The team is working hard to ensure that the homes and services they offer to our customers with dementia are fit for purpose and meet their needs.
Outside of work Wendy cares for her Grandfather who has mixed dementia and COPD.
